To make for an extra-interactive experience, FUEL's "Big Green Bus" will be in front of the Picture House on the night of the screening. Starting at 5:30 PM, visitors will be able to tour the biodiesel-powered bus, see how solar panels run the appliances and electronics, and view an algae and biofuels bench display.

About FUEL:
If AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH showed the problems, FUEL provides the solutions.  FUEL is a film about national security and sustainability that is having an enormous impact on audiences, inspiring environmental activism for a renewable energy economy. FUEL offers viable, practical solutions and is now leading the environmental charge. It comes at a time when many feel the imperative to rebuild the economy and make the true shift to green.

The Picture House

Several years ago a group of concerned citizens in lower Westchester organized to save the 1920s Pelham Picture House, now listed on the NY State Register of Historic Places, from the wrecking ball. The Picture House, recently restored and renovated, is now an independent film and education center. The Picture House entertains audiences with great movies – indies, foreign films, classics, shorts, animated films and documentaries from around the world. By inviting, actors, directors, producers, screen writers, and film critics to discuss their work, we bring the back lot to our front door.
